Three Final Trusts Join NEMA

Northern Ireland, West Midlands and East of England have recently joined NEMA. These Trusts join previous members, South Western Ambulance Service NHS Trust, Great Western Ambulance Service NHS Trust, Isle of Wight NHS Primary Care Trust, South East Coast Ambulance Trust, East Midlands Ambulance Trust, Welsh Ambulance Service Trust, North West Ambulance Trust, Yorkshire Ambulance Trust, South Central Ambulance Service and London Ambulance Service. Not only do these Trusts include the last of the eligible English trusts, but they cover over 89% of the United Kingdom patient coverage. NEMA is the first nationwide, comprehensive medical dispatch arrangement in the world.
